  • Delivery & Data Excellence (DDX) team, who are experts in their fields, specializing in technical accounting, processes, and efficiencies. The Delivery & Data Excellence team works to improve the value and impact of compliance work through standardizing technology and exploring data analytics and new technology.

The Opportunity:


  • We're looking for a Manager or Assistant Manager to join our Private Enterprise team in Hamilton. You'll have the opportunity to utilize new technology and processes to deliver and review accurate and timely enterprise technical services of varying levels of complexity to the business.
  • You will have the opportunity to 'own' the delivery of your work and contribute to the resolution of complex compliance accounting and tax issues that result in client satisfaction.
  • Join our national specialist team, where you will gain exposure to a broad client base and be provided with accelerated learning and development opportunities

Day to Day you will:


  • Preparation of complex financial statements which are high quality, technically correct in timely and efficient manner
  • Review of annual financial statements for junior team members, providing feedback and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and taxation standards.
  • Assign tasks and assist junior team members to prioritize work effectively to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Contribute to our highperformance team culture with an innovative approach to the delivery of our technical accounting work.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the team and identify any development or training needs.
  • Recognize business development opportunities and be able to build key business relationships.

What you'll bring to our team:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional accounting compliance experience
  • CA ANZ or CPA membership or relevant overseas professional body
  • Competent user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and accounting systems
  • Experienced with mentoring and coaching junior team members.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional approach to work and a strong client focus
