Manager, Strategic Asset Management - Victoria, Canada - Island Health
Description
Reporting to and working closely with the Executive Director, Facilities Management and Operations, the Manager, Strategic Asset Management plays an integral role within the Facilities Management and Operations team.
The manager is responsible for formulating and executing strategies to maximize the utilization of the organization's physical assets, including facilities, equipment, and technology.
The Manager collaborates closely with multiple stakeholders to oversee a range of assets, such as buildings, equipment, information systems, and infrastructure, in order to facilitate the provision of exceptional healthcare services by ensuring efficient operations, cost-effectiveness, and long-term sustainabilityTravel may be a requirement of this position.
Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment and may require the use of a personal vehicle.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field and seven (7) to ten (10) years of recent, progressive supervisory and management experience in a large, complex organization; or an equivalent level of education, training, and experience.
- A strong knowledge of various planning, project management, and mechanical, electrical, and building systems, as well as advanced proficiency is utilizing enterprise asset management systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is required.
- Valid BC Driver's License.

- Ability to collaborate productively with diverse stakeholders and drive positive change in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Pay:
$52.79-$75.88 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
