Department Overview


The Business and Consumer Card Product Team (BCP) within the Canadian Card Payments, Loyalty & Personal Lending (CCPL&PL) Organization focuses on product management, development, and pricing of our TD proprietary consumer and business credit card portfolios.

We seek self-motivated individuals who want to work in a fast paced and high impact business unit that delivers results.


  • Act as the Business lead for Student, New to Canada for Cards. Lead the strategy, implementation and integration from both a Cards and broader bank perspective.
  • Own Segment Strategy, monitoring and product lineup and P&L for Segments (including but not limited to New to Canada (N2C) and Students to deliver top line growth
  • Establish processes and products to win in the market and championing the development and implementation of programs and initiatives, to deliver the strategy
  • Lead the charge with Business casing of offers and recommendation of Product Offerings as it pertains to Bundle offers (ie
  • N2C Banking Package, International student Banking package)
  • Influence and support Risk (Credit, Operational) strategy development/refinement and projects supporting segments
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Product, EAJ, Risk, Acquisition, Marketing, PBDA) to identify opportunities and define target state
  • Review performance analytics and competitor insights; recommend and champion strategies to enhance the customer or end user product experience, identify additional segment opportunities
  • Own decision rights to P&L impacting Acquisition offers and initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to autonomously support and/or lead initiatives through the organization, execute and deliver results
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to deliver actionable recommendations from analysis in a timely manner high level of comfort with business casing
  • Excellent relationship management skills with a proven ability to maintain strong working relationships with partners and demonstrated ability to impact and influence others
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including comfort presenting to senior executives
  • Proven ability to respond quickly and effectively to adhoc information and strategy development
  • Enthusiastic selfstarter with ability to prioritize and multitask, working both independently and within a team environment
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and an ability to "course correct" as needed
  • Experience with risk strategies and understanding of our Cards Credit lending practices will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience developing and executing on Product strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Excel to leverage data to support decision making, PowerPoint to tell a compelling story).
  • Previous Product, Acquisition, Finance, or Retail experience will be considered a significant asset
