Lab Assistant - Certified Dental Assistant Program

Term, Part-time 2 days/week

April - June 30, 2023

August 2- December 31, 2023

Duties:
This position reports to the Department Head, Health programs and receives requests from Dental instructors.

You will be responsible for set up and removal of materials, organization and management of the stock room and lab use equipment required for laboratory sessions.

You will also assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of new labs; assist in troubleshooting and resolving laboratory experiment problems; be responsible for ordering and dispensing supplies to instructors and students; prepare displays and maintain the laboratory equipment and general safety protocol.

CUPE Pay Level 3 $25.52/hour as per CUPE Collective Agreement (this includes 16% in lieu of benefits and vacation)
