How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The main object and purpose of this position consist in ensuring efficient control of the Regional Centre's cylinder assets in order to maintain customer cylinder balances accuracy and ensure efficient customer cylinder records management.
The incumbent optimizes customer service and assists the administration team in the recovery process and general management of ALC's cylinder assets, all while promoting ALC's quality and safety objectives.
Ensures the optimization of cylinder asset utilization: Works with the supply chain teams at head office and at the Regional Centre to achieve optimal cylinder asset utilization.
Ensures customers, distributors, depots and trucks audit: Works with administration and sales teams to manage customer cylinder balances, and reconciles their accounts with ALC's cylinder records.
Ensures that appropriate charges are levied for lost or damaged cylinders. Ensures that all cylinder holding areas, including trucks, depots, satellites, stores, etc. are audited and that cylinder inventories are in line with sales requirements.
Visits customers, distributors and depots:
Visits customers, distributors and depots, as necessary. Makes sure that products are handled in a safe manner. Counts cylinders.
Makes adjustments and issues invoices in case of shortages in conjunction with the administration and sales teams. Helps customers to manage cylinder inventories efficiently.
Establishes optimal cylinder inventory levels and helps coordinate draw-downs or stock-ups to meet them.
Analyses monthly cylinder count:
Prepares a regular cylinder audit plan to reconcile customers' cylinder balances and recover cylinders at customers with inaccurate balances, excessive cylinder inventories, closed and delinquent accounts.
Tracks all progress and prepares a monthly cylinder action plan or report to the administration Team Leader.Gives high priority to cylinder lease and demurrage recovery opportunities by account
Process improvement:
Works with his/her team as well as with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the work process.
Evaluates results, identifies product or process-related non-conformances as well as the causes for dysfunctions within his activity, and implements action plans with appropriate solutions for improvement.
Quality/Safety:
Improves health and safety within the workplace. Actively promotes ALC's safety objectives. Knows and respects all procedures indicated in ALC's Quality Manual. Ensures that

- Diploma: College diploma in administration
- Knowledge: MS Office, Apollo, bilingualism, good oral communication skills, knowledge of ALC's various types of gases and cylinders.
- 5 years in the field of activity.
