SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manually pick orders of natural and organic packaged food products and place them onto pallets for shipping. It will include picking in our dry storage, as well as our cooler and freezer storage area.

Operation of electric pallet movers and other equipment is required for this position; we can provide training for this. The job is physically demanding, involving lifting and moving of boxes and bags (30-50lbs).


QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT:


  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse Order Picking experience
  • Experience using warehouse equipment (i.e., electric pallet movers, low level orderpicker, or forklifts) is preferred
  • Solid attention to detail and experience palletizing product of varying shapes + sizes
  • Ability to work independently and stay on track to meet productivity goals

WORKING CONDITIONS:The salary starts at $21.27/hour, with scheduled increases based on hours worked. Shift premiums for hours worked in the cooler/freezer and for hours worked after 9pm. Paid lunch break. This is a fulltime, permanent position (40 hours/week). The schedule is 3-11pm during the week and 9am-5pm on the weekend (final schedule TBD).
