    Job Description

    Position Purpose

    This role is the CHEP North America position tasked with delivering value from IoT-enabled Digital deployments and bringing it to realization. The primary responsibility of the Digital Data Analyst will be to clean and analyze journey data generated from the asset tracking software (BRIX) and to report all relevant information and insights to stakeholders throughout the business. This includes managing the cleaning and analysis of journey data generated by asset tracking software (BRIX) and providing insights to stakeholders across the business. Additionally, the data analyst will oversee the creation of master data with geolocation to support the deployment of IoT tracking devices and ensure data accuracy for analysis and reporting. The role of the Digital Data Analyst will support the ongoing delivery of digital products as part of the Digital Transformation Team at CHEP North America. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for extracting actionable insights from digital data.

    Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze customer behavior in BRIX to understand asset journeys, movements, and leaks to translate to actionable insights to the business stakeholders.
  • Partner with a wide range of internal customers and project teams; turn data into information and insights; analyze and validate data sources; understand and agree on key metrics and outputs; proactively identify opportunities to improve productivity and enhance customer experience.
  • Provide quick turnaround data analysis to generate insights to help guide decision-makers and executives
  • Ensure relevant SLAs are met; engage with teammates to improve output for all digital projects.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert for CHEP NA for all Digital products and tools.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Responsible for testing upgrades.
  • Perform high-level analysis on identified digital workstreams and targeted deployments and provide updates to teams where necessary
  • Oversee the processing, cleansing, and verifying of the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Develop new methods for data cleansing and location resolution

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience

  • Experience in collecting, collating, and structuring data, ideally with address and location information (data entry, contracts, collections, invoicing, master data, etc.)
  • Experience in extracting valuable insights based on digital movements in the data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all reporting levels
  • Proficient with Salesforce, SAP/BW, and working with declaration data.
  • Proficient in Data manipulation in Excel or SQL
  • Ability to build visuals/slides in Microsoft PowerPoint or PowerBI
  • Experience working with developing technologies and providing structured feedback into the product development cycle beneficial
