Detailed Overview:

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
The Coordinator, Lifeline Program, coordinates Lifeline Program activities for an assigned local service area in support of the goals and objectives of the Lifeline Program


Responsibilities:

  • Oversees subscriber base information systems and activities involved in the monitoring/screening of subscriber eligibility, the updating of subscriber database information, including the addition and removal of subscriber information.
  • Ensures the recording and submission of financial transactions such as deposits, credits, outstanding accounts and subsidized accounts. Prepares related financial reports.
  • Develops and implements marketing and promotional activities for assigned areas in support of the Lifeline Program marketing plan and in conjunction with the Manager, Health Services; monitors results and develops follow up action plans.
  • Provides information regarding the benefits and features of the Lifeline Program to service clubs, community groups, potential subscribers and other members of the health care team.
  • Recruits, trains and evaluates the performance of assigned Lifeline Program volunteers; organizes and schedules work assignments.
  • Monitors, analyzes and evaluates program activities and results. In collaboration with the Manager, Health Services, identifies areas of future opportunities or concern and develops and initiates appropriate follow up activities; ensures ongoing issues of concerns are referred to the Manager, Health Services.
  • Liaises with other agencies and communities within assigned areas, in support of integrated regional services and efficient utilization of resources. Identifies for the Manager, Health Services, strategies to meet service requirements.
  • Participates in the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of goals and objectives and policies and procedures for the Lifeline Program.
  • Performs other related dutes as required.

Qualifications
:
Education and Experience


Certificate in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline plus three (3) years' recent, related experience in a service or volunteer organization or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Valid B.C. Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business related purposes.
