Position Overview
Reporting to the Principal Investigator.

This Recurring part-time position is an hourly position with variable hours. Recurring part-time employees are hourly employees engaged to perform work on an irregular schedule.

Position Description

Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

Under general supervision & direction of the PI
Assist with performing basic duties
Clean and put away labware and equipment
Reliable and safe operation of all laboratory equipment
Data Entry
Keep laboratory and work area clean and safe
Ensures supplies and lab equipment are clean and well stocked
Assist other lab personnel (technical and trainees) when required

Qualifications / Requirements:

Undergraduate degree or High School Diploma preferred
At least 3 months in the research field
Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment
Ability to follow strict laboratory methodologies routinely
Assist in the operation and maintenance of complex technical equipment
WHMIS
