Role and Responsibilities

This position requires collaborative internal/external consensus building skills with a proven ability to think strategically in a rapidly evolving environment.

This role requires a unique blend of strong technical and business knowledge, solid interpersonal communication skills, along with awareness of technology and industry trends.

In a development environment that includes multidisciplinary teams responsible for the complete Hardware prototype/new development designs (value stream) and XR Hardware product customizations, you will be expected to manage the Technical aspect of the projects.

Responsibilities:

Be responsible/owner of the HW development Budget.
Be responsible/owner of the HW development Schedule.
Be accountable for the overall project delivery.
Review/track project progress, milestones and gates (health status).
Work with multidisciplinary teams both internal and external to the department.
Work with Resource Managers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Several years' experience at CAE an asset.
Dynamic team player with sense of initiative. Resultsoriented, has good team spirit.
Good oral and written communication skills, leadership, good team spirit and process management skills.
Effective time management and multitasking skills. Ability to manage risk, project scope, and resources.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to change.
Availability to travel.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
