What will be my first role?


As a marketing associate on the Canada Marketing & Communications team, you will launch your career by working on rotational assignments alongside experienced marketers and communicators to successfully plan, develop, launch, and measure marketing campaigns spanning all sectors, business lines, and alliance partners.

You will gain experience across many areas of marketing like strategic planning, market analysis, target marketing, message development, promotional materials, digital marketing, client events and sponsorships, internal and external communications, operations, and measurement.


Responsibilities:


As a marketing associate you will be an integral part of the North America (NA) Marketing team, working with teams across the major marketing functions.

You will be provided training and coaching as you support these areas:


  • Content development
  • Trade shows and client events
  • External communications and media relations
  • Internal communications
  • Service, alliance, and sector marketing
  • Marketing campaign management
  • Marketing operations

Key Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications/writing, public relations, or related field within the past 18 months
  • Strong academic achievement (3.2 GPA min)
  • Work or class project experience in marketing, communications/writing, public relations, or business development
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience with collaborative writing processes, a variety of corporate communication styles, and knowledge of the editorial process
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
