We are currently seeking a talented Staging Associate to join our team in Hamilton, ON team.


***The Staging Associate is responsible for the efficient product picking and packing of all TPN and Homecare customer orders in support of cleanroom production.- Under the direction of the Cleanroom Team Lead/Cleanroom Operations Manager/Pharmacist, the Staging Associate picks and stages all supplies for Homecare and TPN (if applicable) as outlined on the worksheets and labels all completed production for both TPN and Homecare. The Staging Associate interacts with the Operations Department team to ensure supplies are available for production (inventory and quality assurance checks). The work is performed according to set practices and procedures and is of a routine nature. Unusual problems are referred to the incumbent's lead and/or supervisor.

Passion & Commitment, We care- Adherence to corporate, regulatory and individual responsibilities supporting the Company's quality management programs, supporting policies, procedures, work instructions, and relevant software (QSi).- Adherence to the Company's commitment to and policy on Patient Safety and Code of Conduct.- Adherence to organizational and individual health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.- Maintains up-to-date Health and Safety training.- Maintains up-to-date training designated for this position via QSi and other position specific training as required.- Maintain inventories of supplies in the staging and cleanroom sufficient to meet production demands.- Pick Homecare and TPN according to the appropriate production worksheet.- Complete in process and final inspections of product as required by SOPs.- Label and package compounded TPN and Homecare products to ensure proper identification and integrity for shipping and final use- Assist in the cleaning of equipment, totes, and work surfaces and maintain facility compliance with Calea standards.- Maintain strict adherence to line clearance principles at all times.- Responsible for understanding and adhering to Calea's patient safety policies and procedures.- Performs all other duties as assigned.


RELATIONS WITH OTHERS

  • Internally, the Staging Associate is in contact with the other staff members of the pharmacy and warehouse departments.
  • There are no external interactions.
    WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Physical Effort
  • Lengthy periods of standing are required. 80% of the time there is prolonged use of outstretched arms in front of the body while picking and packing IV admixtures. 8090% of the time is standing and moving to complete tasks required.
  • Some lifting is required of objects up to 20 kg.
  • Bending from the waist is required.
  • Visual Concentration 90% of the time concentrated visual attention is required for verification of finished product.

  • The staging area is generally comfortable, well lit and properly ventilated.
  • The job has a routine fast paced work environment with a normal amount of stress.
