Description

Edge Transportation Services Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Yard Operator for their Saskatoon, SK location.

This position is Monday to Friday, 07:00am - 4:00pm

Do you have a Class 1 license and are looking for experience?

Applicants must possess a Class 1A license, have Forklift experience, and be willing to to train on other types of heavy equipment.

The applicant will be tasked with staging trailers, completing the loading and unloading procedures, and ensuring the trailer is secured prior to transit.

Responsibilities:

Operating wide range of yard equipment
Toplifts, Sidestackers, Forklifts
Working with containers/drayage including destuffs and transfers
Spotting and shunting trailers
Load Securement (tarping and strapping)
Forklift loading and unloading
Handling of freight documents
All other duties as requested
