    About the team

    The team is responsible for overseeing installation of new or upgraded systems both virtual and physical and exploring technology integration and/or infrastructure environment buildouts which are used to support outsourced solutions to external clients. We also maintain the current technology as well as all of the recovery processes, exercises and tests conducted throughout the year.

    What you will be doing

    1. You will plan and coordinate all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.

    2. You will develop, define, and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

    3. You will interact with project development, sales, client relationship, technology solutions and/or other cross-functional teams.

    4. You will identify needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles.

    5. You will coordinate activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.

    6. You will assign and monitor work of project team providing technical and analytical support and direction.

    7. You will manage project risks, action items, issues, decisions, and dependencies to ensure project goals.

    8. You will serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.

    9. You will deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations and status reporting to technical and business groups in FIS and in client organizations.

    What you bring

    1. Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines as well as various IT methodologies and life cycles, including waterfall and agile approaches.

    2. Advanced skills with project management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel.

    3. A bachelor's in computer science, management information systems, business administration or equivalent experience which is typically 5 or more years work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industry.

    4. Superior written and verbal communication and editing skills with extreme attention to detail.

    5. Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members.

    Bonus if you have

    1. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

    2. SaFE certification.

    3. Financial industry experience.
