NWI Precision, located in North York, ON is looking to add an experienced
Program Manager to our team.


Program Manager


The Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining good customer relations, integrating all the organizational stakeholders within the organization and customer base, and keeping clear and regular communication across the company.

Creating and maintaining program schedules. This includes understanding program deliverables, and working with functional groups to define and schedule supporting activities.

The Program Manager will also be governing and optimizing the equilibrium amongst the scope, quality, schedule and cost of the Program.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Accountable for the overall success of their Program with the assistance of team members
  • Responsible for ensuring and providing leadership and coordination of the functional inputs in the development and documentation of a program baseline
  • To support Contract Negotiations
  • To exercise control through oversight and program level change control of scope of the program work statement, schedule, and cost
  • To act as contact point with the Internal and External Customers from development through to series production
  • To ensure the maintenance and reporting of the risk plan and corrective action plans
  • To conduct Program Reviews and provide timely top level visibility of the program status to the Customer and Management
  • To maximize the Company's performance throughout the program's life cycle
  • To act as the guardian of the approved business case for the program
  • To coordinate and aid in timely decision making on all program elements
  • To ensure the maintenance of program plans
  • Other duties as required by management

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Clear Background Check
  • Meet the registration requirements of the Controlled Goods Program
  • Able to work in Canada, Canadian citizen or permanent resident

EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a fouryear college or university or equivalent experience in the industry
  • PMP Professional preferred

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:


  • 5 or more years of Aerospace Manufacturing Product experience in Program/Project Management
  • Experience in ERP/MRP systems and scheduling management
  • Ability to understand program requirements and enforce compliance adherence to the contract scope
  • Must be able to utilize complex problem solving techniques and critical thinking in support of assignments
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with multitasking ability
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast paced environment and handle stressful situations in an appropriate manner
The position requires residence in Toronto or surrounding area.
