Position Summary

The Field Installation Project Manager is accountable for the planning, coordination, and execution of car wash projects across Ontario.

This role closely collaborates with various stakeholders, including customers, installation staff, internal sales, and operations team.

Key Accountabilities

• Site Liaison & Technical Leadership
• Engage in site visits and generate quotes for potential installation projects
• Offer technical guidance to internal team members and clients concerning equipment selection
• Supervise service technicians during active installations
• Provide on-site support for service and warranty issues related to Transchem-supplied equipment
• Create and maintain project schedules as necessary
• Coordination & Administration
• Collaborate with customers, subtrades/building teams, and vendors on planning and scheduling for car wash projects
• Utilize internal software systems to manage projects
• Perform other sales and installation duties related to car washes

Education and Experience Required

• 3 years of direct experience in field, construction, or mechanical project management
• Experience in the car wash industry or related fields considered advantageous
• Preferred candidates will possess a PMP Certification or equivalent business diploma
• Relevant certifications in related trades are a plus

Preferred Technical Skills and Competencies

• Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of equipment layout and technical drawings
• Prior experience in assembly, alignment, rigging, welding, testing, and repair of car wash systems
• Understanding of electrical theory, low voltage control systems, and troubleshooting
• Effective project management skills with the ability to communicate, prioritize, and analyze projects
• Strong leadership qualities for guiding installation crews and building relationships with stakeholders

This position will be based in Cambridge, Ontario.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Travel required: 50%.
