AIM Athletic is a Langley based boutique personal training gym which offers training programs including 1-on-1, small group, kinesiology, as well as strength and conditioning services.

Job description
AIM Athletic is seeking a high character individual who wants to be part of a growing business, and learn the fundamental skills needed to not only succeed in this position, but in a career in health and fitness.
Working at AIM Athletic, you will learn:
- Programming and evidence-based training practices
- Simple to administer and effective assessment protocols
- How to market yourself and book yourself solid with as may clients as you want
- BA/BS Kinesiology or Sports Science or related degree, preferred but not necessary
- Background in athletics, preferred but not necessary
- Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM
- Excellent presentation skills in both small and large group settings
- Strong customer service skills where servicing the "client" is top priority
- Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals
- Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products
The primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Instructing and motivating clients in a safe, ethical manner to achieve their goals.
- Conducting onsite assessments of clients' health using AIM Athletic's evaluation protocols.
- Updating training plans and/or reevaluating clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintaining constant communication with clients to ensure goals are being met.
- Reporting various metrics to operations, such as attendance, engagement, outreach efforts, and activity level.
- Participating in program planning and development, as well as design.
- Leading and/or participating in staff education covering all aspects of AIM Athletic methods.
- Perform all aspects of position held in a professional manner.
- Follow established policies and procedures of the company.
- Maintain professional credentials as required including attending necessary continuing education courses.
- Aid in growth of AIM Athletic, assisting in client recruitment and marketing.
- Other duties as assigned
