OVERVIEW:

The Manager, Media Analytics will manage, quantify & measure across multiple projects. You will have a critical role in ensuring consistent analysis for campaigns and quality output.

You will act as a key interface for clients and will have a large share of client interaction as you work closely with the Account Management Directors to provide all research & analytics support.


Your Impact:


  • Act as primary daytoday contact on project development and execution; lead this internally by coordinating with junior team members and liaise with upper management and junior client stakeholders
  • Proactively provide and implement process improvements to enhance data strategy, speed/accessibility of output generation
  • Actively participate in the development of learning agenda and measurement plans
  • Understand, recommend, and carry through on all aspects of measurement strategy, from conception, recommendation, implementation, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery of these deliverables
  • Use results and data from past campaigns/initiatives and external, syndicated data sources to assist in the development of creative and media strategies internally and crossagency
  • Analyze large / raw data (sets), to draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance
  • Create and present compelling presentations that tell a story, have a clear point of view, and provide media/business implications
  • Ensure all client materials are on strategy, delivered on time and meet client expectations
  • Establish strong relationship with client through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of client's basic business issues
  • Manage and mentor junior staff
  • Adept at communicating effectively across all levels and managing workflow
  • Exercise diplomacy as applicable
  • Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally, with clients and across WPP crossagency teams
  • Ability to navigate difficult/challenging conversations with win/win outcomes
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Your Knowledge & Abilities:


  • Knowledge of ingesting large amounts of data into a visualization tool a must (Datorama, Power BI, Data Studio, Tableau)
  • Possesses both strategic and tactical skill sets with an eye for numbers, proficient at problem solving with a strong command of online and offline media.
  • Strong knowledge of the media landscape, partners, trends that can impact clients and the day to day
  • Knowledge or have worked with syndicated research tools and attribution, such as Nielsen, IRI, Kantar-Millward Brown, etc.
  • Solid command of site and ad tracking as it pertains to media exposure
  • Manage client requests independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment, ensuring timely delivery of projects and timely communication followups with stakeholder groups
  • Ability and desire to produce POVs to justify decisions and/or educate internal and external stakeholders
  • Simplify the complex and communicate clear storylines and business implications (grounded on data)
  • Comfortable presenting results to leadership and clients in a compelling and concise manner
  • Translate key action items from strategy meetings
  • Continuously looking for ways to improve current business practices and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint are musts)
  • Manages team timelines and his/her own timeline independently; understands how to prioritize key projects and tasks
  • Fluency in SAS, SPSS, R or any other advanced analytics software package a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL and proven experience working with at least one of the major databases platforms a plus

Your Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • An MS degree in Statistics, Economics, or Applied Math is a plus
  • 35 years related work experience
