We are a reputable and growing medium-sized construction company specializing in residential projects.

With a commitment to delivering high-quality construction, we are currently seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent with expertise in finishing work for residential apartments.

Our upcoming project involves the construction of a 25-unit apartment building in downtown Montreal.


Position Overview:

Responsibilities:


Project Management:
Oversee all aspects of finishing work for the 25-unit apartment building.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.


Subcontractor Coordination:
Coordinate and manage subcontractors involved in finishing work, including interior partitions, drywall installation, lighting, and cabinetry.


Quality Control:
Ensure all finishing work meets company standards and industry regulations.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.


Communication:
Maintain open and clear communication with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and on-site staff.

Provide regular progress updates to the project management team.


Safety Compliance:
Enforce and promote a culture of safety on the construction site.

Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.


Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on finishing work for apartments.

Bilingual in French and English.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.


Start Date:
January 2024


Compensation:
$1600 - $1800 per week, dependent on experience.

Work

Schedule:
7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, five days per week.
