    What You'll Do

    As a junior engineer, you will report to one of our intermediate engineers within the MWM group. Your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Design: Work on the design of diverse projects, from pumping systems to infrastructure design, from concept to construction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the project teams to brainstorm and execute projects efficiently.
  • Fieldwork: Get out of the office with site visits and construction inspections, seeing your designs come to life firsthand.
  • Analysis and Modelling: Utilize advanced tools and modelling software, such as GoldSim, for hydraulic and hydrologic analyses.
  • Project Management: Drive projects forward, ensuring every detail is accounted for and milestones are met. Prepare scope, schedule, and engineering cost estimates for proposals.
  • Communication: Effectively and concisely present project work to your peers and clients through project meetings and preparation of engineering reports.

  • What You'll Bring

  • A positive and motivated personality
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, prior Technology Diploma considered an asset.
  • Prior engineering work experience considered an asset (co-op or post graduation work experience)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
  • A desire to learn new skills and an eagerness to grow within your role
  • A valid driver's license (in good standing) is mandatory
  • Must be physically able to conduct field visits commensurate with project work. This may include handling and operation of equipment, travel to remote areas by vehicle, boat, air or foot, and outdoor site visits in all weather conditions on uneven/varying ground terrain.

  • $73,000 – $85,000, wage dependent on years of experience
