This position role includes 50 per cent clinical caseload and 50 per cent non-clinical Section Head Physiotherapy duties. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, the physiotherapist responsibilities with a clinical caseload makes a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The Section Head Physiotherapist plays a crucial part in the day-to-day operation of Acute Surgical and Critical Care Physiotherapy Services. This position contributes to the development and monitoring of policies and procedures for Acute Surgical and Critical Care Physiotherapy Services; providing budgetary input to the Manager and/or Professional Practice Leader; and monitoring operating expenditures while demonstrating fiscal accountability as is relates to services. Days of work are Mondays through Fridays; shifts times 07:30 to 15:30 hours.


PRH is in the Okanagan health service area and responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area.

PRH offers services including 24 hour emergency and trauma services, acute services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic/paramedical services.

  • Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
  • Four (4) years' recent related clinical practice experience including a minimum of two (2) years' Supervisory or Management experience in the assigned Allied Health field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current valid BC Driver's License
