We are actively seeking a horticulturist to join our team and help lead our garden maintenance technicians.

Job description:
Responsible for leading a crew of 1-2 gardeners to oversee and implement landscape maintenance at residential gardens.

The position holds the following responsibilities:
Pruning of ornamental shrubs and hedges

Raking, weeding, soil amendment

Transplanting, planting of annuals, perennials and bulbs

Design, install and maintenance of planters/pots

Working directly with clients to satisfy their garden maintenance needs

Working directly with the maintenance manager to develop weekly/monthly schedules

Care and general upkeep of truck and equipment

Completion of daily job site worksheets, and employee time sheets

Job Requirements:

Hold a valid driver's license

2-5 years experience working in horticulture and garden maintenance

Certification or diploma in Horticulture

Strong working knowledge of ornamental plant id and care

Skilled at using a variety of power tools.

Including, but not limited to:
Blower, hedge trimmer, lawn mower, line trimmer etc.

Continuously work hard in all weather conditions

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$28.00-$35.00 per hour
