DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accurately scaling, mixing, and assembling various pastries including but not limited to scones, muffins, and cookies.
Completing all daily prep work to ensure the pastry department is set up for success for the next day.
Working both independently and in a team environment. Applicants must be comfortable working in a fastpaced and time sensitive environment.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times. Applicants must be knowledgeable in proper food handling, storage, and labeling. Daily cleaning is required.
Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the kitchen manager.
Sandwich assembly and prep for breakfast/lunch.
Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working in a bakery, restaurant, or other food service setting would be an asset.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills are necessary to be successful.
Must have high standards regarding quality and attention to detail.
Must be able to follow written instructions, including recipes.
