Position Description:
Typical tasks and activities associated with role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work with the client team to conduct organizational change management (OCM) activities;
  • Assist client to assess the overall organization and the organizational units affected by the change and its capacity/capability to undertake and successfully deliver a project;
  • Support client in defining the change management and communication strategies;
  • Assist the client in planning the change management implementation and implementing the change;
  • Interact with the client project team members to implement changes to the organization;
  • Assess the client project team's dynamics and conduct regular project team building sessions;
  • Monitor and evaluate the client's performance once the change has been implemented;
  • Meet in conference with stakeholders and other project managers and recommending an action plan to move forward with a change management program;
  • Develop internal OCM communication plans related to the project implementation including the identification of communication objectives; target audiences; messages; impediments/ barriers; communication methods; cost analysis and providing recommendations to client Management;
  • Review and provide recommendations and input to OCM communication and information products;
  • Support the client in the development of plans, presentations, tables, diagrams and working with a variety of project management tools in support of the change management program; and
  • Support the client project team to deliver presentations to stakeholders and end users to launch and support the OCM program.

Work Location:
Hybrid work location model (mostly remote with occasional onsite at a government client site in Ottawa, ON). Valid Secret clearance is a must.


Must Have Skills:


  • 5+ years of proven work experience in organizational change management (OCM) on large enterprise projects, which includes:
  • Assisting clients in planning the change management implementation and implementing the change
  • Assessing client project team's dynamics and conduct regular project team building sessions
  • Monitoring and evaluating the client's performance once the change has been implemented
  • Meeting with stakeholders and recommending an action plan to move forward with a change management program
  • Developing internal OCM communication plans related to the project implementation
  • Working with a variety of project management tools in support of change management program
  • Delivering presentations to stakeholders and end users to launch and support the OCM program
  • University degree or College diploma
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL mastery highly desirable

Preferred Skills:


  • Previous work experience on largescale Federal government projects is an asset
  • Experience working with BMC Remedy AR System, ITSM Suite is preferred

  • Strong ability to manage client relationships
  • Excellent problem solving skills, creativity, and insight with the ability to dissolve crisis situations with clients
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable in front of a technical or managerial audience
  • Ability to lead a workshop or small scale training course
  • Excellent written communication ability
  • Creation of quality presentations, white papers, etc
  • Writing the technical grids for proposal responses
  • Strong analytical and overall technical skills
