The Opportunity:


The Coordinator and Feeding Specialist work as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate feeding team referrals and intake process and provide direct behavioral feeding therapy to children and their families, under the direct supervision of the Feeding Clinic Psychologist.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing behavioral intervention services to identified children and their families; teaching parents to implement the behavioral strategies; providing support over the phone as needed for families in between appointments; medical chart review; score forms; assisting with program planning; provides feedback to supervisor on a regular basis; other related duties as assigned.


Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday - 8:30 - 4:30


Your Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Child/Youth Studies, or Bachelor's Degree in Education required.
  • Behavioural Interventions Diploma is considered an asset.
  • Course on learning/behavioral principles and theories an asset
  • Recent experience working with young children (05 years old) is required.
  • Recent experience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or medical conditions is required.
  • Experience working in a hospital environment is an asset.
  • Experience in the assessment and treatment of feeding disorders in young children is an asset.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team in a variety of settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Demonstrated excellent observation and problemsolving skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to familycentered care, and limits of competency.
  • Working knowledge and competency with Outlook, Word, and Excel software.
