Basic Purpose of Position:
This position provides administrative support and guidance to Line Maintenance and Stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for Manager, Line Maintenance, Stores and their respective teams.
- Build and administer yearly work schedules for the groups making sure all formulas are functioning and calculated properly.
- Create and maintain schedules that comply with existing collective agreement(s).
- Review base qualifications and propose training dates for mandatory training.
- Act as the point person for maintenance inquiries.
- Provide guidance to employees and supervisors concerning the Unifor contract(s).
- Ensure all requirements of the collective agreement are applied when processing payroll.
- Maintain, coordinate the flow of information for: AWP (Attendance Wellness Program), CAP (Culpable Attendance), Probation and Grievances.
- Adhoc tasks as assigned.
- Code/Process invoices through Ariba.
- Delegate for signing security forms and holder of visitor passes.
- Perform document control duties.
- Coordinate the new hire process (onboarding and offboarding).
- Creating and maintaining employees' personnel files.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of coworkers and customers.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary education or previous clerical experience is required.
- Minimum (23) years of experience working in an office environment.
- Knowledge of Maintenance environment and airline operational experience will be considered an asset.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
- Must be bilingual to be able to work within the province of Quebec.
