- Managing the development and implementation of the various strategic plans, while ensuring
strict adherence to the approved business plan; - Being a unifying leader to team members and providing support in the performance of their duties;
- Recruiting and hiring 70 employees and 5,000 volunteers (including accreditation );
- Controlling and supervising an operating budget amounting to between $40 and $50 million;
- Producing reports for funding partners ;
- Managing procurement for all activities as well as the asset liquidation plan ;
- Planning and managing equipment storage ;
- Integrating and coordinating all team activities with the CEO, administrators, staff and volunteers;
- Ensuring effective horizontal communication and activity integration across all relevant areas ;
- Working efficiently as part of a team and maintaining healthy and positive professional
relationships. - Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field;
- At least 5 years' experience in a management position in a relevant field .
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, strong analytical skills and sound judgement;
- Demonstrate initiative and entrepreneurship;
- Skilled in building and mobilizing high-performance teams;
- Manage multiple projects concurrently with tight deadlines;
- Emphasis on putting customers and service quality first;
- Manage change and operational risks, priorities, planning and follow-up;
- Bilingualism (French and English): an asset
- Annual salary between $120,000 and $130,000, scaled to experience level;

Position overview
As a key member of the 2027 Canada Games General Management team, the Chief Financial Officer provides high-caliber strategic advice to the CEO and the Board of Directors. This dedicated manager develops and supports team members in the areas of human resources, legal services, finance, procurement, administration, information technology, as well as volunteer recruitment and management.
