Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienists to provide exceptional patient care.

Your main responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, taking patient x-rays, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment.

Duties:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, handing instruments, and providing suction
Take and develop patient xrays as directed by the dentist
Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care instructions
Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
Perform dental receptionist duties as needed, including answering phone calls and verifying insurance coverage

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Proficiency in OPEN DENTAL
Experience working with CAD/CAM technology is a plus
