Job description
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate / Property Management Virtual Assistant to support a tenant replacement process for a residential lease in Los Angeles.
This is a short-term, process-driven assignment (estimated 10–20 hours total over 2–6 weeks).
You will manage the full screening funnel — from listing to applicant filtering — so that only top-tier candidates are presented for final interview.
Responsibilities
- Post rental listing across platforms (Zillow, , Facebook Marketplace, etc.)
- Respond to inbound inquiries professionally
- Send pre-screening questionnaire (Google Form)
- Filter and score applicants based on criteria
- Organize applications in Google Sheets
- Coordinate showing times
- Verify employment/income documentation
- Prepare background/credit check coordination
- Present top 3–5 candidates only
Required Experience
- Previous experience in leasing / tenant screening / property management
- Familiarity with rental platforms (Zillow, , Facebook Marketplace)
- Strong written English communication
- Experience building Google Forms + tracking spreadsheets
- Familiar with income verification + credit/background check process
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Has worked with US landlords or property managers
- Understands how to filter for professional, low-risk tenants
- Proactive and structured
- Can think in terms of process and risk mitigation
- Structured intake form
- Organized applicant tracker
- Weekly shortlists of top candidates
- Clean documentation of screening process
Budget
Hourly:
$8–20/hr depending on experience
