Job Title:
Finish Carpenter (Temp-to-Perm)

Location:
Maple, Ontario, Canada

Job Type:
Full-time

Pay Rate:
$28-$33 per hour

Work Authorization:
Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship. Eligible work visas include Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen, or valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret CAD shop drawings and specifications in both 2D and 3D.
Operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, sanders, hand tools, dominos, routers, etc.
Locate and transport materials as needed.
Work alongside onsite CNC Programmers.
Collaborate with designers, woodworkers, and other teams to ensure project alignment.
Assemble components using various materials such as glass, metal, and plastic.
Identify and address mistakes, reporting to appropriate team members.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience with woodworking and joinery.
Understanding of frame construction for seating.
Experience operating CNC 3Axis machines is a plus, but not required.
Experience with case goods is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.

Education:

Postsecondary degree or diploma from a recognized college or university is required.
