Job description

  • Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
  • Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers
  • Cleaning and sanitizing their work areas, seating areas and equipment/tools
  • Working with other baristas to help take orders, make drinks and provide timely service to customers

Requirements:


  • Being friendly, courteous and helpful to customers, listening to their needs and preferences, and resolving any issues or complaints
  • Having a basic understanding of coffee types, roasts, origins and flavors, as well as how to prepare different coffee drinks using various methods and equipment
  • Being able to follow recipes and instructions accurately, measure and grind coffee beans precisely, and customize drinks according to customer requests
  • Working well with other baristas and staff members, communicate effectively, share tasks and responsibilities, and support each other
  • Being able to handle multiple orders and tasks at the same time, prioritize and manage time efficiently, and cope with stress and pressure.
