    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Ottawa-based Building Services Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, overseeing a team of Account Managers and Account Executives, managing key client accounts, and ensuring operational excellence across a range of projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 Account Managers and Account Executives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
    • Manage team performance through KPI tracking, regular performance reviews, and coaching sessions to drive continuous improvement.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, including commercial, industrial, and residential properties, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
    • Collaborate closely with project managers, foremen, and other operational stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and address any client concerns or project requirements.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their needs, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services, and provide tailored solutions to enhance their experience.
    • Utilize a proactive approach to account management, anticipating client needs and delivering innovative solutions to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
    • Participate in industry events, network with key decision-makers, and collaborate internally to create new business opportunities and expand our market presence. Qualifications and Job Requirements:
      • 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field within the construction or building services industry.
      • Proven success in leading and motivating sales teams to achieve and exceed targets, with a focus on new business development and account retention.
      • Strong understanding of commercial, industrial, and residential building systems, with knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy solutions preferred.
      • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
      • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability through strategic account management.
