About the Role
Based in Montreal, Quebec the Jr. Product Owner will play a critical role in the development, launch and growth of VIFC.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about building software products, is ambitious, self-motivated, driven, and looking to deliver high-value work within a small, and agile team.

Reporting directly to the EVP of Technology & Digital, the Jr.

Product Owner will have daily involvement with, and support business operations, marketing, technology, and cross functional revenue teams to help drive, and support the ongoing growth of our new service.

Attention to detail, refined problem-solving skills, organization, planning and the ability to create high quality documentation is deemed critical for this role.

Unique to this role, the Jr.

Product Owner will have the opportunity to help drive projects by liaising with key stakeholders from a technology and software perspective.

Responsibilities

Drive meetings with stakeholders and system users to understand, gather, define and clarify business requirements.
Analyze and document business processes and workflows with the end goal of digitalization.
Create or update diagrams, charts, and other documentation to support the design and development of technical solutions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Participating in project planning, and estimation, and help drive scheduling.
Evaluate and test new or existing systems to identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvement.
Research and recommend new technologies or solutions that could improve business operations.
Providing ongoing support for implemented systems, including highlevel troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Communicate with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
