Job Description:
AECOM's Transportation Engineering Group in Calgary is currently seeking a Roadway Drafter.
Working within the Transportation team, this position is ideal for someone who wants to further their professional development with a leading design firm.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare CAD base files and drawing packages meeting client standards.
- Ensure that quality project drawings are completed on time and on budget
- Take direction from Management and Project Managers
- Efficiently work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Using Civil3D to develop drawing packages for roadways, highways, intersections, transit, utilities and other transportation projects
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma from a recognized postsecondary institution
- 6 Month+ experience working with Civil3D and AutoCAD
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in CIVIL 3D and AutoCAD
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microstation Open Roads and AutoTURN
- Experience includes drafting on transportation projects
- Experience with Alberta Transportation, City of Calgary projects
- Familiarity of Microsoft Office
- Member of Professional Association with ASET
