Description

River Gardens Retirement Residence, is looking for a friendly motivated individual to provide quality compassionate care for our seniors. Some duties would include assistance with bathing, assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, laundry, and/or occasional transport to and from dining room.

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work together as a team and independently
Demonstrated empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors
Time management skills; ability to organize work
Must have a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required
Previous experience working with seniors an asset
Experience with administering mediations an asset
First Aide/CPR training an asset

Vulnerable Sector Check, TB skin test and Covid-19 vaccine required.

Staff are required to wear medical masks.

PPE supplied by employer.

Salary:
From $16.93 per hour
