Role and Responsibilities

:

As a Glazier with TGS, some of the things you will do include:

Install commercial storefront systems, curtain walls, doors and canopies.
Read and interpret architectural/shop drawings.
Operate power tools, fabrication machines and/or lift equipment.
Lift heavy objects and perform physical activities including: erect scaffold, climb ladders, install prefabricated components, move or fit heavy objects.
Installation of glass using manipulators

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Apprentice

:

-
No experience required. We will train you in house and put you through glazing school to further your career in our trade.

:

Curtain wall, storefront, windows, doors, skylights and door hardware experience a plus

Journeymen

:

Applicants that have 5+ years of experience in commercial window installation recommended.
Curtain wall, storefront, windows, doors, skylights and door hardware experience a plus

Foremen

:

Applicants that have 7+ years of experience in commercial window installation recommended.
Experience running large scale commercial glazing projects with crews up to 10
Experience in layout of various glazing systems
