We are excited to welcome new members to the Provincial Airtanker Centre team comprised of one dispatch supervisor two dispatch leads and seven dispatchers.Our established team plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and operations air tanker crews and aircraft by working closely with aircraft personnel operations staff and fire centre teams.We value a diverse and inclusive environment where attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure are appreciated making a meaningful impact on our operations

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with air tanker crews operations officersand other staff supporting air tanker operating handling multiple means of communicationsmonitoring safety procedures for aircraftThis role requires exceptional attention to detail multitasking skillsand the ability to work effectively efficientlyunder pressure juggling multiple demands time-sensitive requests throughout the dayJoin us make significant impact community safetysignificant contribution wildfire management emergency responsediverse inclusive team

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 or equivalentPreference may be given candidates:
      *Demonstrate accurate typing speed words per minute or greater
      *Experience working demanding environment strict timelines
      *Experience working office team setting
      *Experience records management filing
      *Experience emergency responseexperience computers digital systemsexperience Microsoft Office suite
