Veoneer Canada, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a
Warehouse Supervisor. As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the efficient operations of the warehousing and shipping functions. Primary responsibilities encompass leadership and supervision of employees, product inventory, Health & Safety and improving productivity.

Within this role, you will be expected to drive the business forward, streamline the operation and engage in continuous improvement.

This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.


What you'll do

  • Train and supervise staff in standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
  • Coordinate efficient operation of the warehouse.
  • Achieving Customer Deliverables, Cost and Quality Targets.
  • Ensure adherence to VES standards.
  • Manage system integrity and use problem solving methodologies with team to drive to root cause and permanent corrective action.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
  • Communicate & implement change as required.
  • Be proactive in anticipating potential issues, understanding the necessary actions, and ensuring preventative measures are in place.

What you'll bring

  • Strong communication skills to ensure that all parties understand and receive appropriate information in a timely manner.
  • Must possess strong computer skills and the proven ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Future 3, Enterprise One, Trace and Crystal is a great asset.
  • Experience with the Ceridian Dayforce timekeeping system is an asset.
  • Flexibility to work on an offshift is a requirement.
