Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented

Marketing Operations Manager, you will work closely with our internal teams and external partners to create engaging content in a variety of formats that will be used to support our overall brand and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content creation & copywriting_
  • Craft engaging content that is onbrand, aligned with the content strategy, maintains an accurate tone of voice for all communication channels including blog posts, social media ads and eblasts, etc. Ensure all content resonates with our target audience and drives engagement.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to gather information & insights for content creation ,and produce assets that align with our brand and design patterns.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in content marketing & SEO content writingMaintain external websites, ensuring accuracy in the information presented
  • Formulate, execute, and oversee a comprehensive social media strategy/calendar to increase brand visibility and audience interaction.
  • Respond to and monitor inquiries and messages received from our social media accountancy including but limited to Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin
  • Alumni & Community Engagement Management_Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage with digital communities and local communities in Alberta and Manitoba.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing marketing activities and events that enhance campus experience and increase community engagement
  • Create and implement alumni engagement plans, including student referral, outreach activities and networking, and studentalumni bridging.
  • Marketing in general_Collaborate with our external marketing agency to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
  • Execute targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads, tracking and analyzing their effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Desired Qualifications- A university or college degree in marketing, communications, business or equivalent years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, digital or a related field- Experience managing and developing social strategies for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other social platforms- Experience with website management - previous experience with WordPress, e-commerce, and HTML an asset- Experience with Google Analytics, digital advertising, social monitoring & scheduling tools Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud products with an appreciation for design would be a plus


Must-Have QualificationsStrong written and verbal English communication skills with a passion for writing, storytelling and the ability to develop engaging content for a diverse audience- Highly self-motivated and self-directed; objective-oriented with a high-level attention to detail- Effective critical/analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize work effectively and under pressure- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision, organize work independently, work with the team, fulfill assigned tasks, and meet crucial deadlines- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
