Overview

The Producer supports the clients and ideals of their creative lead agency, all under the vision of their Head of Production. Directly reports to an SVP/Group EP or VP EP, depending. The Producer is responsible for translating creative ideas into project plans and deliverables across their specific discipline(s) of expertise. In addition to fundamental producer skills (listed below), to be on the Production team requires solid critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as a passion for guiding creative ideas from brief through project launch. The ideal candidate for this position will have ambitions of work that pushes creative and technological limits and experience in delivering a variety of integrated projects completed on time, within budget and to the highest level of creative standards. Broadcast, Digital, and OLV content production. Experiential is a plus.

Responsible for excellence in all day-to-day aspects of production including scoping and ballparking creative concepts, building detailed project schedules, managing project scope, researching and securing production resources, quality controlling all deliverables, maintaining project documentation and communication with holistic project teams.

Responsibilities

• • Able to work independently, sometimes on concurrent projects, ensure error free, on time and on budget productions all while meeting or exceeding creative objectives and expectations
• • Represents a craft expertise but responsible for actively learning, developing and further growing skills through exposure to cross discipline productions and proactively seeking support/guidance when needed
• • Able to research, identify, select and negotiate production vendor partnerships (internally and externally) based on both scope/budget/timeline of project and which partner is best suited to execute the creative vision.
• • Responsible for supporting and participating in our efforts in cultivating a diverse, equal and inclusive culture of production within our work
• • Communicates proactively with Creative, Account Services, Business Affairs and Media partners on all aspects of the production including milestones, deliverables and due dates to keep the production process flowing smoothly
• • Demonstrates the ability to both knowledgeably use and explain talent verbiage to larger Agency team
• • Responsible for building critical relationships and maintaining the agency's reputation and standard of excellence with the internal and external production
• • Stays on top of industry trends, craft-makers, techniques, directors, photographers, and new technologies and utilizes expertise and passion for production to inspire and educate the Department and Agency overall in an effort to elevate the lead creative agency's creative product
• • Integrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiency, elevate content quality, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and storytelling

Location & Commitments

• • Full-time role, currently hybrid status
• • In-person/in-office minimum of 3 days per week (111 Queen St. E)
• • Travel may be required to deliver on client and production needs

Qualifications

• • Experience in production at an agency, production company or similar environment
• • 4+ years as Producer for Broadcast, digital. Experiential is a plus
• • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and work seamlessly across agency functions and with partner agencies
• • Consistently delivers projects and commitments on deadline
• • Effective negotiation and positive-minded problem-solving skills required
• • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative
• • Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail

Physical Demands

• • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Additional Information

Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
