Description
Overview:
- Working with and continually improving our internal processes for finding and acquiring skilled business professionals for the organizational needs of our valued clients in the Oil & Gas, Energy and Mining industries across Canada.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Canada-wide Recruitment
- Advertise requirements by drafting and placing adverts in a range of places such as online job boards, our company website, social media etc.
- Researching, creating, and posting job ads across various platforms.
- Sourcing, and selecting applicants to fit project specific client requirements.
- Screening and follow up with applicants prior to submission via phone or teams virtual conference meetings.
- Engage in recruitment marketing activities to increase awareness of our company's opportunities in the market.
- Source passive and active prospects and present recommendations to HR Manager.
- Update Bullhorn
- WestCorp's recruitment database in a timely manner in order to maintain accurate recruitment metrics.
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter to manage sourcing activities.
- Complete all administrative and document management to ensure compliant with legislative requirements.
- Other talent acquisition related projects as required, including continuous improvement initiatives.
- Checking Educational Background, Technical and Safety Qualifications.
- Reference Checks
- Take the initiative to further develop our current recruiting processes to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and response times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have Grade 12 diploma or GED
- RPR (register professional recruiter) designation is an asset
- Minimum 3 years in a related Human Resources position
- Minimum 1year direct Recruiting experience in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to adjust to shifting needs as they align with our everchanging recruiting requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment collaboratively with team members or independently as required.
- Some post secondary preferably in Office of Business Administration.
- Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 past supervisor/manager references
- Experience in Bullhorn or similar ATS would be an asset
SKILLS:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, administrative and leadership skills are required.
- Strong level of professionalism
- Motivated, selfstarter who can work well independently or within a team environment.
- Highly organized with a keen memory
- Exercises good judgment on complex decisions.
SHIFT:
Monday - Friday, 8 hour days
