The Transitions Management Team is a collaborative group overseeing the onboarding of institutional clients and products.

The team is responsible for creating and executing transition plans by understanding the needs of clients, investment strategies and operational requirements.

The team manages over 400 transitions annually.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the onboarding of Institutional Canadian, US and global clients
  • Be the key contact in the onboarding process with external stakeholders including clients, custodians and consultants
  • Analyze and identify operational and portfolio management requirements, potential risks and client needs, and work with internal teams to set up new clients
  • Work diligently with investment managers, sales, compliance and operations teams
  • Coordinate client restructures including changes to mandates, benchmarks and account transfers
  • Maintenance of onboarding tools, project plans and documentation

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in an investment operations or clientfacing role. Background and knowledge in financial markets and investment processes preferred
  • Analytical, creative and growth mindset with the ability to problem solve and create thoughtful solutions
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders on understanding client and project requirements and executing plans
  • Great communicator
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and a high level of integrity
  • Detailfocused and the willingness to dive deep into processes and operational requirements
