Ecopack Canada Inc, a division of Ecopack S.p.A. is currently seeking a Junior Printing Press Operator to join our team in Brantford, Ontario.
Job Description:
Safely and efficiently set up and operate rotogravure printing press to print aluminum and paper to quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Load and unload paper and aluminum stock.
- Control Quality, Register, Colour, Viscosity, and Alignment.
- Observes machine operation to detect defects or machine/maintenance issues.
- Maintains a clean work area, including the cleaning of cylinders and doctor blades, and additional press clean up as needed.
- Records daily production and quality data.
- Operates Fork/Lift truck.
- Assist lead press operator.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- 1 years experience running gravure press or flexo press.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with the operation of handheld tools.
- Basic mechanical ability and manual dexterity.
- Handeye coordination.
- Attention to detail.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and Overtime.
- Must be able to stand and walk on cement for long periods.
- You must have steeltoe boots.
- Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
Salary:
From $20.00 per hour
