  • Welcome to the Private Client Advice team Since its inception in 2018, Private Client Advice (PCA) has grown fast and profitably. We offer an insurance service that appreciates our client's efforts to build their prized assets, which may include everything from cars and properties, to wine, jewelry or art. Private Client Advice is a bespoke insurance experience, tailored with our clients in mind and customized to ensure that the assets they've worked so hard to acquire are fully protected. Our goal is to exceed our client's expectations. The Appraisal team helps to achieve that goal by providing a customized experience to its clients including onsite visits and thorough evaluation of high net worth properties.
  • Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Serve as a lead in all configuration and development work for appraisal software. This includes developing and modifying forms, reports, outputs, learning business needs and optimizing workflows and processes based upon business requirements.
  • Provide accurate and thorough analysis of key appraisal process drivers, root, or systemic causes of cross functional operational issues. Interpret findings to design and implement software configurations to improve workflows/processes.
  • Develop and execute on reporting functions and/or produce consolidated or aggregated reporting as appropriate, including assimilation and presentation of data to internal stakeholders.
  • Support in the performance of remote appraisals of homes which are to establish adequate coverage amounts, identify potential additional coverage needs, documentation and photographs of materials, finishes and unique characteristics and endtoend risk management, and client consultation. These tasks will provide crossfunctional support to underwriting (advisors), claims, pricing, product, data analytics, CAT modeling, client relations, etc.
  • Develop skills to enhance the appraisal team such as dispute resolution and research of construction industry trends.
  • Identify and leverage emerging technology to advance efficiency, streamline processes, bolster client experience, and reduce costs.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Loss Control 360 or comparable software considered an asset
  • Experience as a business analyst is preferable
  • Proficient at all MS Office products, and current product development technology
  • High proficiency with MS Excel
  • Ability to compile, analyze, interpret data and present conclusions
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work with strict and often overlapping deadlines
  • Work proactively with direct manager to develop improved client experience, operational and practice management practices and overall personal development
  • General understanding of property and casualty insurance
  • Ability to align key stakeholders and partners to achieve required outcomes and results
