Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist for our Burnaby, BC office to provide high level front desk, administration and customer service support.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Create a great first impression, and interface in a professional and positive manner while greeting clients and vendors both in person and over the phone including managing the visitor registration process.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of mail/ packages.
- Answer a VOIP phone system and effectively route calls.
- Handle conference room scheduling
- Ensure conference rooms are always. presentable for continuous meeting throughout the day.
- Assist with executive meeting setups/cleanups as requested.
- Maintain the reception area and lunchroom area on 11th floor.
- Respond to staff needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Invoice coding and sorting pay stubs and informing admins when they are ready for pick up.
- Flexibility with early morning starts if early meetings booked.
- Opening and/or closing gates.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- A High School Diploma in addition to some higher education and/or work experience equivalent.
- Computer proficiency, especially within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- The ability to lift 1525lbs (office supplies, cases of paper).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure, deal with difficult situations and/or people, take initiative, demonstrate organizational and detailoriented skills and juggle multiple responsibilities in a deadlinedriven environment.
- A positive, proactive attitude, highenergy level, flexibility, dependability and willingness to learn new skills and be a team player.

- Lower Mainland $ Lower Mainland $26.87 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)
