POSITION TITLE:
CONSTRUCTION LABOURER - DEMOBILIZATION


RATE OF PAY:
$ per hour, plus monthly vehicle allowance

HOURS PER WEEK:

This role will report to the Demobilization Foreman


JOB OVERVIEW

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Other assignments, projects, and duties may be required:

• Take down scaffolding and formwork
• Tear down equipment
• Load and unload materials and equipment into totes/trucks
• Demolition and chipping of concrete
• Clean up the job site, remove waste

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Construction
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have own, reliable vehicle
• Working At Heights ticket considered an asset
• Must be willing to travel to multiple sites in a day
• Able to lift, carry, or shovel objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Able to perform physical labor requiring continual and repetitive use of large motor skills to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, crouch, shovel, push, pull, twist, turn, stretch, and reach.
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions including seasonally hot or cold temperatures, dusty conditions, and inclement weather.
• Safety awareness and knowledge of risks
• Active listening and respectful attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to follow instructions
• Able to work individually as well as part of a team

MUST SUPPLY OWN:

• CSA Approved Work Boots (68" High)
• Work Belt
• Bluehandle Klein Pliers
• 22oz Hammer
