What you will be required to do:


  • Inspect and diagnose any current/and or potential issues regarding overhead doors and loading docks (commercial/industrial).
  • Make recommendations in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
  • Complete repairs to overhead doors and loading docks (commercial/industrial).
  • Ensure all paperwork (i.e. work orders, inspection sheets etc.) is completed neatly and accurately.
  • Ensure pictures are taken in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain mechanical and physical condition of service equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication.
  • Review inspection findings with customer while on site.
  • Review any major safety concerns found during inspection with customer and advise the office of potential service call.
  • Perform work assignments in accordance with the OHSA regulations.
  • Responsible for adhering to the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and secure.
  • Complete daily truck and trailer logbooks to comply with CVOR.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful:


  • At least 2 years of lead hand experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Mechanically inclined (comfortable using power hand tools).
  • Selfstarter, team player with positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Must be able to commit to a Monday to Friday work schedule.

Pay:
$26.00-$35.00 per hour
