A day in the life of a Sales Manager

As the Sales Manager, you are responsible for the successful operations of all aspects of the Sales Department in the dealership.

Working with a strong team of individuals who complement each other, you will be a key member in consistently driving the business forward.

You will be with your clients every step of the way, taking them from test drive to delivery.

You will also:

Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the New and Pre-Owned Automotive Sales personnel
Measure the activities of each sales representative to ensure that their marketing activities will produce intended sales production
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts for the department
Monitor department profitability and take responsibility for corrective measures
Lot management and merchandising of vehicles
Work cohesively with other dealership departments to ensure ultimate functionality
Lead, coach, and mentor staff and take your team to the finish line
Meet each customer in our showroom and assist sales consultants with followup with customers
Other duties as required
