The DevOps Technical Specialists, reporting into the DevOps function, are responsible for driving a diverse and highly skilled group of software engineers to deliver world class DevOps systems.

This position has responsibility for driving development operations, providing services across the embedded vehicle systems - Vehicle systems, modems, in-vehicle infotainment, advanced driver assistance systems and beyond.

The minimum requirements we seek

5+ years working in an associated technical field delivering embedded and development systems.

Our preferred requirements

Masters degree preferred.
Experience in implementing DevOps including for safety critical embedded systems.
Demonstrated time in role working in a multidisciplined organization focused on delivering development efficiency
Excellent communication skills both up and down the organization to achieve the desired results.
Organizational skill: Strong collaboration skills, clear and concise direction coupled with an ability to move within the organization to complete work and balance tradeoffs.
Strategic thinking: Demonstrated examples of driving strategy from concept through to Production.

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Partner to re-define a technical vision, technical strategy, KPIs and architecture for this function
time from code to deploy.
Develop and drive a technology roadmap and rollout plan for the systems that include security and safety critical systems
Drive data discipline and best practices through the organization.
Ensure projects and roadmaps are progressed appropriately
