The Salvation Army Sunset Lodge -LTC facility is currently seeking a Housekeepeing Supervisor to join the Services Department for our 108-bed complex care facility.


CHARACTERISTIC JOB DUTIES:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the following range of job duties characteristic, or typical of the job class:

  • Supervises Housekeers by performing duties such as co-ordinating work assignments and determining related training and orientation requirements.
  • Performs and/or directs the performance of a variety of cleaning duties
  • Orders cleaning supplies and recommends the purchase of equipment.
  • Maintains related reports and records.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The successful job applicant will have completed High School, plus two years' recent related experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to supervise.
  • Ability to organize work.

Salary:
From $24.00 per hour
